let's create something
something beautiful.
I waited 36 years to hear the word
Mama
"it was all happening just as fast as everyone had promised."
A friend from across the country replied: "Just wait until she says,
"I love you."
In that moment, my heart stopped.
I realized that in a few short months, this beautiful moment would be ancient history.
It was all happening just as fast as everyone had promised.
As a mother and a formally trained professional photographer, I believe that life's milestones deserve to be honored, treasured, and preserved...not only for you, but for your children to share with their children.
The studio is located at The Arsenal, a bohemian artist's enclave in Benicia, California. Rich in history and artistic inspiration, The Arsenal is best described as a photographer's dream. The studio and gallery boast 30-foot ceilings, with huge windows throughout. A selection of well-curated props and furnishings are used within the luminous space but photographic possibilities extend beyond the walls of the primary studio, providing endless variations in photographic styling. Simply put...there is no single place in the San Francisco Bay Area where you can go for a photo session and get so much variety in one session.
Your journey with baby begins well in advance of the birth. Pregnancy photos are a wonderful way to remember this special time in your life. Maternity sessions are complimentary for anyone who chooses the Forever My Baby Plan.
Something really beautiful.
Something made to last.
Something made to share.

She was my first, and of course, I posted that proud moment online as soon as it happened.

After photographing babies, kids, and families for nearly a decade...I've developed a formula for a successful and stress-free session which keeps many of my clients coming back year after year...sometimes several times in one year.
While newborn sessions have a quiet and sleepy vibe, sessions with babies and older kids are definitely more high-energy and downright FUN!
My goal is to make your session a SAFE and RELAXED experience. I have a degree in Health Care Administration and have taken CPR training in my previous career...rest assured, as a mother of two, I know how important it is that you feel your baby is in safe hands during the session. I will never compromise safety to get 'the shot.'
At the end of the process, you will have at least one tangible art piece, great memories, and no regrets. Read my reviews and you will see that most families who have done this keep coming back.

"we find a delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body."

"amazing"
I am able to offer my clients a HUGE variety of looks simply because of my location.
Winter. Spring. Summer. Fall.
The studio has something beautiful and memorable for each season.
