2-day workshop

SAN FRANCISCO bay area
NOVEMBER 11 + 12, 2023

Meg lives in a remote part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula with her husband, four young children and several fur babies. She shares glimpses of her life, a collection of mainly fine art, environmental portraiture and lifestyle photography, on her personal Instagram account.  Her muses are her children, but she is also inspired by nature, the Dutch Masters, the Renaissance and Norman Rockwell.
Meg is a Sigma Ambassador and Profoto Legend of Light, as well as an internationally-renowned teacher. She is also a volunteer photographer for The Gold Hope Project, a non-profit organization that gifts pediatric cancer families a free photo session.

something beautiful.

I waited 36 years to hear the word

Mama

"it was all happening just as fast as everyone had promised."

Of course, I posted that proud moment online as soon as it happened.

It was all happening just as fast as everyone had promised.

A friend from across the country replied: "Just wait until she says,
"I love you."
In that moment, my heart stopped.
I realized that in a few short months, this beautiful moment would be ancient history.

It was all happening just as fast as everyone had promised.

As a mother and a formally trained professional photographer, I believe that life's milestones deserve to be honored, treasured, and preserved...not only for you, but for your children to share with their children.

The studio is located at The Arsenal, a bohemian artist's enclave in Benicia, California. Rich in history and artistic inspiration, The Arsenal is best described as a photographer's dream. The studio and gallery boast 30-foot ceilings, with huge windows throughout. A selection of well-curated props and furnishings are used within the luminous space but photographic possibilities extend beyond the walls of the primary studio, providing endless variations in photographic styling.  Simply put...there is no single place in the San Francisco Bay Area where you can go for a photo session and get so much variety in one session.

Jennine is a kid at heart who takes a sophisticated approach to baby, child, and family photography.    Jennine began her photography journey at Brooks Institute of Santa Barbara before taking the traditional assisting route to learn photography.  Jennine's work has been featured by premium brands and organizations including the March of Dimes, Crate and Barrel, Janie and Jack, Elestory and Inspired Magazine and Click Magazine.  As mother to 4, Jennine considers 'Mom' to be her most important title and has built her business around that guiding principle.
